When I joined the company in the 1990s, translation software was a niche product used by only a few users. As time has passed, it has become a field that attracts global attention and interest, to the point where even the world's largest IT companies have entered the market, which I find deeply moving.

The need for translation software is increasing, and at the same time, the number of companies entering the market is growing, leading to intensifying competition. In this modern era where technology evolves at an overwhelming speed, what kind of products can our company release into the world? And what kind of talent can we produce? When facing these propositions, I reaffirm the heavy responsibility of having assumed the position of President and Representative Director. At the same time, I also feel a sense of excitement in taking on that responsibility.

With 2020 just around the corner, translation software is now also required to integrate with handwriting input, speech recognition, and speech synthesis. Due to the nature of our business, we have partnered with prominent overseas companies and research institutions, and fortunately, we have an environment where we can procure technologies we do not develop in-house, regardless of national borders. We aim to continue discovering excellent technologies from other countries and creating synergistic effects by combining them with our own.
